These are for in-store spending only but can be used on anything. The buyer can choose to have the GC mailed to them to give as a gift or we can mail it to whomever they would like. We will in the future have online GC available that can be redeemed online but were not there yet.

We are so excited to be working with local artist Jeannette Cook in this upcoming quarter of classes and in the new year. Here is a little more about Jeannette.
Jeannette Cook has been beading for 42 years and teaching bead workshops for more than 26 years. She is a nationally and internationally known beadwork artist, author and teacher. Jeannette’s work has been featured in several beading magazines & books and is the co-author of the Beady Eyed Women’s® Guides to Exquisite Beadwork, including A Sculptural Peyote Primer and Beading with Peyote Stitch, Interweave Press. Jeannette has also had her finished work in galleries, most recently at PISMO Glass in Denver, CO for the “All About Beads Show.” With a photo of one of Jeannette’s necklaces in PISMO’s full page ad in American Craft Magazine.

You do need to have prior knowledge of a few stitches to take the more advanced classes but we are offering the Basic Netting and Basic Right Angle Weave (RAW). The first ever Southern California Bead Shop-Hop is just around the corner! This event is taking place over two weekends (September 9 – 12th and September 16 – 19th) and is going to be great fun. The first 50 people to come into the store and sign up will receive a free gift (to be given when you come into the store when the shop-hop starts)!. A basic passport is free or you can purchase one for only $8 which will have coupons (to be used after the shop-hop) for all 33 participating stores.
