We are proud to announce that we now carry Antique Copper, Antique Brass, Gunmetal and Bright Silver ball chain! With the gift giving holidays around the corner I thought I would share some new product we have in the store that would work really well for gifts that are quick and easy! I usually have a large bag with me as I usually have my toddler with me when running errands and I am forever searching for me keys. I end up shaking the bag so I can hear them before diving in to find them. We got in a great new item that I am going to put to use immediately.

This key finder is practical, customizable and easy to make into the perfect gift. All you have to do is pick out the beads you want to use, unscrew the ball on the end of the stem, add the beads and screw the ball back on. The perfect gift and one that people will actually use! To use you just hook it over the edge of your purse or bag and the keys stay safe inside and the beads are on the outside and easy to find.

Hi everyone, Michelle here letting you know that I am revamping our seed bead selection to get in new colors, shapes and just plain updating the seed bead wall. This means that I have a lot of Miyuki Delicas on sale! I am doing this in phases so I will be adding more seed beads over the coming months so keep checking back to see what is on sale. Miyuki Delica is a cylinder shaped bead with a large hole, thin wall and is uniform in size. This makes it perfect for bead weaving projects such as Peyote or Brick stitch and loom work. The large hole allows for multiple passes of thread through each bead.

Some of the Delicas have special treatments done to them in order to get a color effect. Below is a list of some of the treatments and what they mean.
AB or Aurora Borealis – a clear “rainbow” finish or “oil slick”
Galvanized – Metal coated including 24k Gold, Sterling Silver, Platinum etc.
Dyed – Dyed a certain color
Matte – Etched
Silver Lined – Holes are lined with silver under colored or clear glass

Dyed and Galvanized Delicas can fade or chip over time

They measure 1.3mm in length and 1.7mm in diameter

There approximately 200 per gram. There will be fewer per gram for galvanized as the metal weighs more.
