I posted on Facebook the other day about having a blog giveaway and someone responded “What’s that?” So here I am to explain what a blog giveaway is to all you newbies.

In the blogging community there is a HUGE movement of using bloggers to promote products, stores, artists, ideas with giveaways of products. They can come from small companies to big companies, Etsy shops to local artists, your own items to someone you know. It is great advertising for the person supplying the product and it also helps the blogger to get more followers! It is also very cool for the winner as they get FREE stuff!

By doing Blog Giveaways here at The Bouncing Bead we would love to have more people find out about us. Both our physical store but also our growing online store and our Facebook community. We also want to introduce new products, favorite products and local artists. The larger our following is the cooler the giveaways will be as crafting suppliers will be more likely to donate products for us to giveaway in exchange for getting their name here on The Blog. For right now though I have asked Laura to set aside some really cool things to giveaway until we get to that point. We will only be giving away items we absolutely love and highly recommend!

A huge win-win for everyone!

You may be asking yourself “What do I have to do to win?” Well you will have to do a few things to get entered into the giveaway but they are painless I assure you. I will always have 1 entry for everyone no matter what! It will probably be an easy question about beading or something. You will then leave your answer as a comment on the blog. Your email address remains hidden and only I can see it and won’t share it! When the end date of the giveaway comes I will count the entries and use a random number generator to pull the winner. You do not have to be local to win as we will ship your prize to you but you have to live in the Continental US, sorry no out of country shipping. I will almost always have chances for extra entries and I will describe each one so you know what to do.
