It’s a lousy excuse, being busy, for not doing this blog. Some of you know that the beginning of this year has been very hard for me, losing Billy, moving and just life in general. I was blessed to be able to take a get away in January which helped and now I’m in the thick of doing many things at one time.
So, what’s new you may ask? Well, I still have been working on receiving new inventory to expand your ideas in jewelry making and even brining in Christina Nixon as a new teacher for glass bead making. Yep, that’s right, learn to make your own glass beads! We have two different types of classes to choose from: The one day call focuses on safety and the basic techniques of bead making and you make about 10 – 15 beads! This is just to introduce you to the possiblity of doing this fun craft without having to invest in a lot of money. The second class is actually a 2 day and it quite a bit more instructive and informative. You can be a beginner or take the one day before the 2 day. We are working on setting up torch stations so once you complete the classes you can come in and make your own, but we are sill working out all the kinks.
Well, I have lots more to say and I’ll get to it soon. But just wanted to say “Hi” and that I haven’t forgotten to do this, just sidetracked.
