Hi everyone, Michelle here letting you know that I am revamping our seed bead selection to get in new colors, shapes and just plain updating the seed bead wall. Miyuki Delica is a cylinder shaped bead with a large hole, thin wall and is uniform in size. This makes it perfect for bead weaving projects such as Peyote or Brick stitch and loom work. The large hole allows for multiple passes of thread through each bead.

Some of the Delicas have special treatments done to them in order to get a color effect. Below is a list of some of the treatments and what they mean.
AB or Aurora Borealis – a clear “rainbow” finish or “oil slick”
Galvanized – Metal coated including 24k Gold, Sterling Silver, Platinum etc.
Dyed – Dyed a certain color
Matte – Etched
Silver Lined – Holes are lined with silver under colored or clear glass

Dyed and Galvanized Delicas can fade or chip over time

They measure 1.3mm in length and 1.7mm in diameter

There approximately 200 per gram. There will be fewer per gram for galvanized as the metal weighs more.
